Join us on a journey through the 1994 Kenner Toy Fair Catalog, which offered a first look at Kenner’s latest toys. For instance, readers had the chance to view their latest Batman, ALIENS, Predator, and Jurassic Park toys.
The 1994 Kenner Toy Fair Catalog provided information about the Jurassic Park action figures, dinosaurs, vehicles, and playsets. After Steven Spielberg awed audiences with his 1993 film, the public was hungry for dinosaur action. So, Kenner provided a large selection of toys based on this hit film. Even today, these figures remain highly desirable by fans and collectors.

Here, Kenner presented No. 61051, Jurassic Park T-Rex “Gulper.” This big T-rex was new and even meaner for ’94. GULPER could “catch” a JURASSIC PARK dinosaur, then swallow it whole. Fans could “tranq” him, then retrieve the dino from the beast’s belly. It also came complete with realistic soft skin and a new movie collector card.
Next, they promoted No. 61066, Jurassic Park Electonic Utahraptor with Capture Gear. “Ripper,” the even bigger, even tougher cousin of Velociraptor, was on the loose. This toy featured a mighty leg-kicking action and a frightening electronic roar. It also came with Dino Capture Gear, realistic soft skin, a new movie collector card, and batteries inside.
Then, there was No. 61015, Jurassic Park Electronic T-Rex. Its huge jaws lunged open as it let out an earth-shaking electronic ROAR. Fans could hear massive footsteps crashing through the jungle. This toy also came with realistic soft skin and a movie collector card, just like the others. However, this T-rex was truly the king of the dinosaurs.
Finally, Kenner promoted No. 61013, Jurassic Park Triceratops. Players could squeeze its sides to make the huge head and horns slash up and down. The soft, realistic flesh featured DIN0-DAMAGE with bones and muscles visible inside. It also came with a Collector Card.

About Our Kenner Toy Fair Catalog Scans
Kenner handed out catalogs to attendees of toy fairs and other events to promote their upcoming slate of products. Each catalog was filled with information about their newest toys, even ones still in development. Thus, they often provided the first looks at action figures, playsets, vehicles, and more from their lines. Therefore, they have become valuable and rare collector’s items.
These Kenner Toy Fair Catalogs featured toys from their beloved lines. For instance, their ground-breaking Star Wars toy line often appeared in these catalogs. Kenner also gave players the chance to live out superhero fantasies with the Super Powers action figures. Another of their beloved lines, M.A.S.K., also were featured in multiple catalogs. There were also other action figure lines like Centurions.
Kenner used in-production prototypes in their images, as these catalogs were prepared before the lines were released. This meant that the featured toys often differed from the retail releases. Moreover, toys sometimes appeared only on these catalog pages, as they were canceled or never hit retail store shelves.
While Kenner only handed these booklets out to trade professionals, we have now made them available to all. You can explore the toys featured in these catalogs with our Kenner Toy Fair Catalog Scans. This is a rare treat since catalogs like these have become increasingly difficult to locate with each passing year.
