The toy line included sublines like the Tri-Ex vehicles.These vehicles provided three modes of play, shifting from All-Terrain to Racing modes. Moreover, LJN produced a variety of Tri-Ex vehicles that represented these various modes.

They also presented #6705, the Tri-Ex Race Vehicle Assortment. These speed demons featured both the styling and power to prove it. Within each assortment, stores found (9) Super Gasser, (9) Turbo Formula, (11) Cruiser Vette, (8) Semi-Hemi, and (11) Mean Green.
Finally, LJN presented #6715, the Tri-Ex Off-Road Vehicle Assortment. These vehicles welcomed players to shift into overdrive when the off-road goin’ gets tough. Each assortment came with (12) Desert Dog, (12) Black Magic, (8) Texas Turbo, (8) CJ Renegade, and (8) Jeep Tracker.
