From 2003 to 2005, Hasbro reissued their most popular Transformers toys with new paint jobs under the Universe banner. This line included unique repaints from multiple toy lines, such as Beast Wars and Armada. To sell the brand, Hasbro created a storyline that told of an injured Unicron calling upon Transformers from across the multiverse to duke it out.
