Power Core Combiners
In 2010, Hasbro attempted a new gimmick for their Transformers toys, the Power Core Combiners. In this line, Commander figures were sold with corresponding Mini-Cons or drones to create combinations. The Mini-Cons of this line followed a similar premise to those of Transformers Armada, but instead turned into weapons and armor for both robot and vehicle modes of the Commander figures.
