Following the end of the fan-titled “Bay-verse” series of Transformers films, Paramount produced the Bumblebee movie, following the titular character after arriving on Earth. The movie focused on Bumblebee’s arrival on Earth and his conflict with new Decepticon characters. On top of this, the film featured familiar faces such as Optimus Prime, Ratchet, Arcee, Starscream, Soundwave, and more in a scene set on the planet of Cybertron. Bumblebee received a toy line of its own, alongside many figure adaptations in the Studio Series toy line and DLX statues.
