Shogun Warriors

In 1979, Mattel licensed several robots from Bandai’s Chogokin line to create the Shogun Warriors. In addition to launching a successful toy line, Mattel also teamed up with Marvel Comics to the comics that ran until 1980. In addition to popular robots like Combattra, Mattel also created a Godzilla and Rodan toy for this line.
