For decades, O&M Hausser created toy soldiers that they dubbed Elastolin. These toys continued in production from the early 1900s until 1982, a year before Hausser filed for bankruptcy. In addition to creating World War II themed soldiers, they also created medieval, Roman, and other ancient armed forces.
