In 1987, Tyco took the world by storm when they introduced their Dino-Riders toyline to store shelves. These toys featured the Valorians, a group of peaceful telepaths, who thwarted the evil plots of the Rulon Empire. Both sides of the conflict mounted on Dinosaurs that they either befriended or subdued. Some of the most popular figures were the Brontosaurus and Tyrannosaurus Rex.
