In 1979, Mego created the toy line for the hit televised crime drama, CHiPs. While the show continued from 1977 to 1983, Mego’s toy line only lasted a single series. The line featured characters such as Ponch, Sarge, and Wheels Willy. There were also several vehicles available, such as the helicopter and motorcycle. Finally, this toy line also had 8-inch-tall figures of popular characters like Jon, Ponch, and Sarge.
