Hasbro continued the coverage of their new toy line, Battle Beasts, on page 109 of the 1987 Toy Fair Catalog. Takara originally introduced these toys to the world in 1986, under the name Beastformers. However, Hasbro brought them over to the west as the Battle Beasts. Since Takara originally intended these toys to be a Transformers spin-off, they briefly made an appearance in the Headmasters cartoon series.

On this page, Hasbro continued to display #5300 Battle Beasts Series I, #5301 Battle Beasts Series II, and #5302 Battle Beasts Series III. These toys featured Battle Emblems that revealed the beast’s power, whether it be fire, wood, or water. To reveal this power, owners rubbed the emblem. Each of these toys came randomly packaged on blister cards, except for the 8-packs that came in a box.

We are glad to present these exciting exclusive scans to the 1987 Toy Fair Catalog from Hasbro. Continue to see even more exciting promotional images that Hasbro provided to retailers and representatives.
