Hasbro continued to focus on their phenomenally successful toy line, the Transformers, on page 80 of the 1986 Toy Fair Catalog. After their debut in 1984, the Transformers became one of the most successful toy lines of all time. With the assistance of Marvel, Hasbro successfully blended the ingenuity of Japanese engineering with the creativity of American comics and cartoons. This venture had become so successful that the Transformers made it to the silver screen in 1986.

Here, Hasbro advertised #5786: The Transformers Autobot Perceptor, who transformed from a microscope to a robot and back. Perceptor could magnify an object fourteen times. The toy came packaged with his own weapons, a character bio, a Tech Specs chart, and a decoder.

Next, Hasbro promoted #5792: The Transformers Autobot Deluxe Vehicle Assortment, massive vehicles that spelled trouble for the Decepticons. Each one transformed into a robot and back. They also came with attachable weapons, bio cards, Tech Specs charts, and decoders. This assortment included three of each style.

Finally, they presented #5797: The Transformers Autobot Jetfire, who soared through the skies, defending the Autobot cause. He transformed into a robot and back. He also came equipped with attachable weapons, a Tech Specs chart, a decoder, and a bio card.
