This man was born in Bowie, Arizona of Indian-Italian-German descent. He stood 6’1” tall and weighed 195 pounds. Even though he had an honorable discharge from the U.S. Special Forces, he later served as a member of the Force of Freedom. He had many qualifications, including special forces, scuba, and jungle expertise.

Even when the army could not, Rambo could. Rambo was America’s ultimate weapon, unequaled in courage and unfailing in patriotism. He was a man who did not know defeat. His strength and skill allowed him to accomplish dangerous missions that no ordinary man would attempt. Martial arts, weapons, and explosives, Rambo was the master of them all. He fought for America, but most of all, for justice.

Rambo led a select for of trained experts who risked their lives for freedom’s cause. With Rambo, they fought an age-old battle against evil. However, evil wore many faces, and none were more sinister than the face of S.A.V.A.G.E. This worldwide terrorist group was led by the scheming General Warhawk, a man motivated by greed and the thirst for power. About Our Coleco Toy Fair Catalog Scans

To promote their upcoming slate of products, Coleco handed out catalogs to toy fair and other event attendees like dealers and retailers. Each catalog was filled with information about their newest toys, even ones still in development. Thus, they were often provided the first looks at action figures, playsets, vehicles, and more from their lines. Thus, they have become valuable and rare collector’s items.

These Coleco Toy Fair Catalogs featured toys from their beloved lines. For instance, the Sectaurs, who combined insects with superheroes, appeared in multiple catalogs. Likewise, Coleco produced and promoted the Rambo toy line, which focused on the cartoon series. There were also many vehicles and toys from the Starcom toy line.

Coleco used in-production prototypes in their images as these catalogs were prepared before the lines were released. This meant that the featured toys often differed from the retail releases. Moreover, toys sometimes appeared only in these catalog pages, as they were canceled or never hit retail store shelves.

While Coleco only handed these booklets out to trade professionals, we have now made them available to all. You can explore the toys featured in these catalogs with our Coleco Toy Fair Catalog Scans. This is a rare treat since catalogs like these have become increasingly difficult to locate with each passing year.
