Hasbro proudly presented assortment #6020: the G.I. Joe Headquarters playset. The G.I. Joe forces could deploy from this set to fight off Cobra assaults. Its sturdy walls supported movable surveillance cameras, a searchlight, machine guns, and a “Double Devastation” cannon that pivoted in all directions. It also featured a complete vehicle service bay area, including a garage, ramp, and movable lift for quick vehicle repairs. The communication network included a radar dish, antenna, and command console with rotating guns.

The G.I. Joe Headquarters could safely imprison captured COBRA enemies. The set also included a helipad, weapons armor, a section for file cards, and an official G.I. Joe flag. Stores received 3 pieces with each assortment.
