This 1984 Coleco Toy Fair Catalog Page presented information on 1827, the Dungeons & Dragons 13” Power Cycle. A fantasy world of medieval castles, dungeons, and knights battling dragons came to life with this new DUNGEONS & DRAGONS POWER CYCLE. A realistic green dragon’s head mounted on the front of the handlebars led the little dragon rider into “battle”. Handlebar streamers and a decal of DUNGEONS & DRAGONS knights on the seat back added to the excitement. Then, the adjustable 3-position seat back took the form of green dragon wings. A clicker sound gave the dragon rider added excitement. Wide track rear wheels and non-slip pedals kept both rider and dragon on the track.

To promote their upcoming slate of products, Coleco handed out catalogs to toy fair and other event attendees like dealers and retailers. Each catalog was filled with information about their newest toys, even ones still in development. Thus, they were often provided the first looks at action figures, playsets, vehicles, and more from their lines. Thus, they have become valuable and rare collector’s items.

Likewise, Coleco produced and promoted the Rambo toy line, which focused on the cartoon series. There were also many vehicles and toys from the Starcom toy line.
