Marvel Super Villains (Dr. Doom-Magneto-Kang The Conqueror) 3-Pack

In the 1980s, Mattel desired to release a line filled with superheroes, so they teamed up with Marvel to create the Secret Wars. Marvel used this partnership to develop the first massive cross-over event featuring their most popular characters. The first issues of this event began appearing in stores in May 1984 and lasted until May 1985. Jim Shooter led the series as the writer, with Mike Zeck and Bob Layton creating the artwork. It lasted for 12 issues, ending in April 1985. Accompanying this comic event was a memorable toy line from Mattel.
