Sparkle Toys manufactured the Defenders of the Planets toy line in 1985 to take advantage of the ‘Masters of the Universe’ demand. This line of action figures consisted of nine figures, four small beasts, and four large beasts. Orion, Zaardoom, and Canis were three of the most popular figures in this collection.
