In 1982, Remco decided to release two related toy lines that complimented each other, the Robot Defenders and the Robot Renegades. These two toy lines were two halves of the same line, with the good and evil sides split between the names. The Defenders included Epaxion, Mazrak, and Zoton. Meanwhile, the Renegades included Diotrax, Wargor, and Zebok.
