As ABC introduced the world to their latest television series, Hardcastle and McCormick, ERTL produced the line of toys in 1983. This short series of toys focussed on the vehicle present in the series. Thus, there were two small versions of the Coyote car. Then, the Coyote once again showed up in a 1/16th scale vehicle.
