Mattel created a brand new vision for action figures when they debuted their Food Fighters toy line in 1988. Rather than featuring normal soldiers, these toys featured plastic anthropomorphized pieces of food, like slices of pizza and chicken legs. So, the war can break out between the burgers and ice cream scoops with donuts bringing in the rear.
