In 1983, Soma Toys released the MOTU knock-off toy line Fantasy World to the market. The toy line rode on the coattails of Mattel’s success, and very closely followed the established formula with monstrous villains and melee weapon-wielding heroes. There were eight action figures in all, being Fanstar, Hellord, Herocon, Ironmask, Tirkin, Dragonman, Nizard, and Piro.
