Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future was an action TV series that aired from 1987 until 1988. Mattel produced the toy line in 1987. During each episode, there was a segment that included visual and audio material that interacted with the toys. The first toy that launched in this collection was the XT-7 Jet with a videocassette. The toy had an integrated light gun that interacted with the features of the tv show. By the end of the line, fifteen vehicles and ten figures had been released.
