The 1985 LJN Toy Fair Catalog advertised licensed Power Pak racing sets that let fans relive the action of their franchises like Go Bots. While Tonka introduced the GoBots in 1983, they permitted LJN to create this racing set. Like the Transformers, Tonka’s toys featured robots that transformed into various vehicles.
