Blurp Balls were a line of collectible, "gross-out" monster toys released by the toy company Ertl in 1991. Designed by James Groman (who also famously worked on the Madballs line), these spherical toys differentiated themselves from competitor toys by featuring a unique projectile-launching mechanism. When you squeezed the hollow, grotesque creature's head, it would launch a small, character-specific object (the "blurp") directly out of its mouth.
