Blurp Balls Retch-a-Rat Tomcat (1991)

Retch-a-Rat Tomcat is a grotesque, mangy alley-cat character from Ertl’s Blurp Balls toy line. The vintage figure features missing fur patches, exposed bone details, and a crazed expression. Its signature gimmick includes a hairball projectile shaped like a tiny mangled rat.

For collectors, the cat’s thin ear details are prone to paint loss and peeling. The tiny rubber rat projectile is also commonly found missing its tail, which can be broken off or lost easily. A complete Retch-a-Rat Tomcat with its intact rat projectile is therefore more desirable to collectors.
