Blurp Balls Biff Barfball (1991)

Biff Barfball is a baseball-themed character from Ertl’s 1991 Blurp Balls toy line, known for its grotesque, mutated baseball catcher design. The vintage rubber figure features a bruised face, sculpted baseball stitching, and an oversized open mouth.

Its signature Blurp Balls gimmick lets the figure launch a small rubber “spitball” projectile from its mouth when the flexible body is squeezed. The combination of gross-out humor and interactive play made Biff Barfball a memorable 1990s collectible.

Because the figure is made from aging rubber, vintage examples commonly develop cracks around the mouth, which can prevent the spitball-launching mechanism from working properly.
