Kenner produced and released the toy line for Police Academy in 1989. After the success of the Police Academy movie and the launch of the TV show, Kenner signed on to create the toys. There were three series of figures, two vehicles, and a Headquarters. There were also handcuffs and other accessories. Claw, Eugene Tackleberry, Larvel Jones, and Moses Hightower were very popular figures in the first series.
