For decades, the German company, O&M Hausser, created a range of toy soldiers that they dubbed Elastolin. There was a range of size ranges for these figures, from four centimeters to around 10.5 centimeters. However, the most common size for these figures was about 7 centimeters in height. This line continued to create toy soldiers from various eras until 1982 when the company went bankrupt.
