Silverhawks

SilverHawks was a short-lived Kenner toyline based on the 1986 Rankin-Bass animated series. Released in 1987 and lasting into 1988, the line featured 4–5-inch action figures inspired by Kenner’s Super Powers Collection, with spring-loaded action features and extensive vacuum-metalized “chrome” detailing. Early figures included bird companions, while later releases came with other accessories. Kenner also produced vehicles and beasts designed to interact with the figures. The toyline struggled without continued television support, resulting in scarce late releases and several cataloged items that were never produced. Today, SilverHawks is best known among collectors for its distinctive chrome figures and relatively limited production run.
