The 1996 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Head Droppin' Don is a variant reissue of the classic figure released by Playmates Toys as part of the Ninja Power series. It uses the same mold as the 1992 Head Droppin' Don, including the sculpted trash can lid on his head. Pressing the head down locks it inside the shell, while squeezing the legs together activates the spring-loaded mechanism to pop it back up.
The figure includes the Sewerpipe Periscope, Trash Can Shield, and Centipede Club, retaining the distinctive accessories from the earlier release. Its Ninja Power cardback, classic head-dropping action feature, and vintage accessory set make the 1996 version a notable TMNT collectible for Playmates toy collectors.
