Coil Cool Donatello is a 1996 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action figure released by Playmates as part of the Coil Force Turtles series. The 1996 Coil Cool Donatello toy features a spring-powered action gimmick that lets Donatello pull back an arm or leg and release it to simulate a powerful strike. The figure includes two Bodacious Power Poundin’ Bos, a Foot-Shreddin’ Knife, and Slicin’ Stars, with versions featuring either black or yellow accessories.
The Playmates Coil Cool Donatello was one of four Coil Force Turtles introduced in 1996, alongside Lickety-Split Leonardo, Mighty Mech Michaelangelo, and Rapid Recoilin’ Raphael. Its unusual spring-action design, muscular appearance, and multiple accessory variations make this 1996 TMNT Donatello figure a distinctive vintage collectible from the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toy line.
