The 1995 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Metal Mutant Michelangelo with Beetle Spirit Armor was released by Playmates Toys as part of the Metal Mutants subline. Michelangelo features a unique chrome armor gimmick, with vacuum-metallized armor plates that transform his appearance into a heavily armored warrior.

The armor pieces can also be removed and assembled into a standalone Beetle Spirit creature. The set includes Metallized Beetle Nunchaku, Armor Claws, and a Metallized Beetle Battle Helmet with eye stickers, making this vintage TMNT action figure a distinctive collectible for Playmates and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fans.
