Jim Lee Donatello is a 1995 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action figure released by Playmates as part of the Jim Lee TMNT series. Based on artist Jim Lee’s redesigned take on the Turtles, Donatello features a larger, more muscular appearance and comes with two Battlin’ Bos, a Totally Techno Turtle Communicator, Super Steeled Ninja Armor, Shreddin’ Hand Razors, and an exclusive Image mini comic.
The figure reflects the bold comic-book style that defined this unusual 1995 TMNT assortment, which also connected the Turtles with Image Comics characters such as Savage Dragon. With its distinctive redesign, specialized gear, and included mini comic, Jim Lee Donatello is a memorable vintage collectible from Playmates’ original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles line.
