The 1995 Supermutant Raphael is a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action figure released by Playmates Toys as part of the Supermutants subline. Raphael features a muscular, heavily armored design inspired by the bold Jim Lee comic-book aesthetic, with red and black snap-on chest armor.
The Supermutant Raphael features Rotatin’ Sais mounted to a gear-driven back mechanism that spins the weapons during play. The removable sai blades can also be held by Raphael, while a Slicin’ Ring Blade adds another weapon. This aggressive design and unique action feature make this 1995 Playmates TMNT figure a distinctive vintage collectible.
