The 1994 Shell Splittin’ Raphael is a unique Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action figure released by Playmates Toys. Designed around a spring-loaded wind-up gimmick, Raphael’s head and legs fold into his body, allowing him to fit inside a textured green egg casing. When the mechanism is activated, the egg pops open and Raphael unfolds upward with his weapons raised.
The Shell Splittin’ Raphael includes the green cracked egg casing and two Shell Splittin’ Sais designed for the pop-up action feature. Its unusual folding mechanism, egg-themed design, and humorous packaging lore make this 1994 Playmates TMNT figure a distinctive vintage collectible.
