Eggsplodin’ Donatello is a 1994 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action figure released by Playmates as part of the Kowabunga Crackin’ Turtle Egg series. Donatello comes with Bodacious Egg Breakin’ Bo’s and a Turtle Twist Wind-Up Egg Shell. Winding the egg shell creates the toy’s signature action, sending Donatello bursting out of his egg and into battle.
The playful egg-bursting gimmick gives Eggsplodin’ Donatello a unique place among Playmates’ 1994 TMNT figures. Alongside Breakin’ Loose Leonardo, Hero Hatchin’ Michelangelo, and Shell Splittin’ Raphael, this unusual design makes the 1994 Donatello toy a memorable vintage Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles collectible for fans of the original Playmates line.
