Retro Rocket Raphael is a vintage TMNT action figure released by Playmates Toys in 1994 as part of the Apollo 11 Turtles sub-line, created as a 25th Anniversary Commemorative Edition celebrating the 1969 Apollo 11 moon landing. This 4-inch Raphael figure is dressed as an astronaut and features a space-themed design inspired by the historic lunar mission. His card-back bio gives him a typically Turtle-like mission: searching the moon for giant “moon anchovies” to help create a cosmic pizza with the other Astro-Turtles.
The 1994 Retro Rocket Raphael vintage TMNT figure came packaged with a Super Circulating Space Helmet, Field Space Support Pack with Pizza Piping, Kowabunga Mutant Moonbase, and “Long May She Wave” American Flag. The set also included an exclusive TMNT Collector Card, instructions, and stickers, making Retro Rocket Raphael a distinctive space-themed figure from the vintage Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toyline.
