The 1994 The Mutant Raphael is a vintage Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action figure from Playmates Toys’ Universal Studios Monsters Series II. Unlike the 1993 Raphael as Frankenstein’s Monster, this version transforms Raphael into a grotesque atomic sea monster with bumpy skin, mismatched monster eyes, a crustacean-like carapace, and tattered sci-fi armor.
The Mutant Raphael includes a Super Atomic Sai, Sub Atomic Thermal Forearm Ray Gun, Atomic Double-Duty Crab Claw Club, and an exclusive TMNT trading card. Released during the later years of the original Playmates TMNT line, its unusual monster design, small accessories, and limited production make this 1994 Universal Monsters Raphael a distinctive vintage collectible.
