The 1994 Shogun Don is a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action figure released by Playmates Toys as part of the Shogun Ninjas subline. Reimagined as a powerful feudal warrior, Donatello wears bulky green and purple samurai armor with metallic chainmail and a sculpted bear motif on his chest armor, representing the spirit of the bear. The figure was produced in silver armor and gold armor variants, with the gold version being much harder to find.
The Shogun Don includes two Bear Bos, Battle Bear Knife, two Shogun Stars, and a character trading card. Its metallic armor, samurai weapons, and silver and gold variants make this 1994 Playmates TMNT figure a distinctive vintage collectible from the later original toy line.
