The 1993 Ninja Grapplor is a vintage Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles battery-powered vehicle released by Playmates Toys as part of the original TMNT toy line. Known as “The Clutcher with Clan Crushin' Claws!”, this motorized vehicle was designed as a Foot Clan-hunting machine created in Donatello's lab. Its automated action allows the Ninja Grapplor to move forward, use its large front claws to grab an opposing Foot Soldier, pivot around, and return to its starting position.
Powered by a “mega-mozzarella motor” and equipped with “titanium Turtle tires,” the Ninja Grapplor has a distinctive mechanical design inspired by the imaginative 1990s TMNT toy line. Although featured in Playmates' 1993 marketing and catalogs, the vehicle did not appear in the original animated series. With its battery-powered movement and interactive claw-grabbing action, the 1993 Ninja Grapplor is a distinctive vintage TMNT collectible.
