The 1992 Toon Burne is a vintage Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action figure released by Playmates Toys as part of the Toon Turtles assortment. Based on Burne Thompson, the Channel 6 news director, the figure reflects the exaggerated, cartoon-inspired design style of the later original TMNT toy line.
The Toon Burne includes a Toss ’Em Typewriter, Phony Phone Blaster, Bull-horn, Super Sub Sandwich Club, Channel 6 Press Pass, and Green Toon TV with a changing image effect. Its unusual civilian character and hard-to-find accessories make this 1992 Playmates TMNT figure a distinctive collectible for vintage TMNT completists.
