The 1992 Toon Leo is a vintage Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action figure released by Playmates Toys as part of the colorful Toon Turtles subline. Leonardo features a bright lime-green sculpt, royal blue mask, expressive cartoon face, and a spring-loaded Eye-Popping action feature that makes his eyes pop forward and jaw drop when the shell lever is pressed.
The Toon Leo includes two Toon Katana Blades, Toon Pizza Disc, and Toon Turtle Communicator. Its exaggerated cartoon design, unusual eye-popping gimmick, and character-specific accessories make this 1992 Playmates TMNT figure a distinctive vintage collectible, while complete examples with a working mechanism can be especially desirable to collectors.
