The Samurai Leo figure is a vintage Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action figure produced by Playmates Toys for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III. Although the figure was released ahead of the movie’s March 1993 theatrical release, the figure and original packaging carry a 1992 copyright date. Designed to match the live-action movie aesthetic, Leonardo wears detailed feudal Japanese samurai armor, including shoulder guards, a chest plate, and a long battle coat.

The Movie III Samurai Leo includes a removable Honor Guard Mask, Time-Slippin’ Scepter, two Cameo-Cuttin’ Katana Blades, and a Semi-Circular Slicer weapon. The standard 5-inch figure features traditional limb articulation without a spring-loaded action feature, while the samurai helmet is permanently molded to the head. This 1992 Playmates TMNT figure is a distinctive collectible from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III toy line.
