Road Ready Don is a vintage TMNT action figure released by Playmates Toys in 1993 as part of the Road Ready Mutations sub-line. This unique Donatello figure transforms into a sleek white sports car inspired by a Porsche, featuring racing number 4 and custom “Don. 1” license plates. The transformation uses a fictional mixture of Retromutagen Ooze and high-octane motor oil to turn Donatello into a racing machine.
The 1993 Road Ready Don vintage TMNT figure includes transforming accessories such as the Mutatin’ Suspension Shock, a bouncing Bo staff, and the Mutatin’ Anti-Freeze Can, which converts into an Anti-Freeze Gun, along with a green Retromutagen Ooze canister. Accessories were produced in different yellow, blue, and red color variations, while the figure’s complex transformation design makes the arms and other joints especially fragile for collectors.
