Road Ready Leo is a vintage TMNT transforming action figure released by Playmates Toys in 1993 as part of the unique Road Ready Mutations sub-line. This Leonardo figure transforms from a ninja turtle into a four-wheeled “Fiery Turtle Truck,” styled as a fire truck with Leonardo portrayed as a turtle firefighter. In vehicle mode, a tiny Leonardo can be seen in the driver’s seat, while the truck features a working retractable hook and ladder.
The 1993 Road Ready Leo vintage TMNT figure includes transforming firefighter-themed accessories such as the Mutatin’ Katana, which converts into a ninja knife, and the Mutatin’ Fire Extinguisher, which becomes a water bucket. Additional accessories include a molded fire axe, bullhorn, and Retromutagen Ooze canister, giving this transforming Leonardo figure a distinctive combination of TMNT, vehicle, and firefighter themes.
