The 1992 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Muta-Raft was a transforming vehicle released by Playmates Toys as part of the Mutations subgroup of the original TMNT toy line. Marketed as a “two vehicles in one” Turtle Patrol transport, the Muta-Raft transforms from a sewer-skimming raft into a futuristic space shuttle capsule with Wind-Splittin’ Wings, Turtle Turbo Thrusters, Extendo-Exhaust Pipes, and Pop-Up Vertical Stabilizers.
The Muta-Raft features pivoting pontoons that adjust between sea and space modes, along with pop-up Foot-Firing Space Missiles for battling the Foot Clan. The vehicle also floats in water, adding a unique water-play feature to its transforming design and making the 1992 Muta-Raft a distinctive vintage Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles collectible.
