The 1992 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Muta-Carrier is a transforming vehicle released by Playmates Toys as part of the Mutations subline. Marketed as the “Terrifying Turtle Troop Transport,” this unique TMNT vehicle toy uses a Trojan horse-style gimmick, disguising itself as a giant turtle before transforming into an armed assault truck.
The Muta-Carrier includes a giant Turtle head, four Turtle legs, four Turtlehead Bruise missiles, a gas can, shovel, and sticker sheet. Its transformation reveals a battle-ready vehicle with a missile launcher, making this 1992 vintage TMNT collectible a distinctive example of the creative Playmates Toys Mutations line.
