Chief Leo is a 1992 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action figure released by Playmates as part of the Wacky Wild West series. The 1992 Chief Leo toy gives Leonardo a Western frontier design inspired by a Native American tribal chief, with a feathered headdress, decorated clothing, and a distinctive ceremonial appearance that sets this version apart from his traditional ninja look.
The Playmates Chief Leo combines Leonardo's familiar character with the Wild West theme used throughout this TMNT assortment. Its unusual chief-inspired design makes this 1992 TMNT Leonardo toy a memorable vintage collectible for fans of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toy line and the themed figures released during the early 1990s.
