The 1991 Rocksteady’s Pogocopter is a vintage Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles vehicle released by Playmates Toys as part of the original TMNT toy line. Designed as an evil Foot Clan vehicle for Rocksteady, the Pogocopter is a bouncing aircraft created to take on the heroic Turtlecopter. Its design features a hinged canopy cockpit, pilot’s chair, air intake, Turtle Shell Hub, Turtle Shell Casing, Pure Power Propeller, Rear Reptile Rotor, and three Mutant-mashin’ Manhole Cover Landing Pods.
The Rocksteady Pogocopter features a signature bouncing action designed to make the vehicle hop, skip, and jump into battle. Its accessories and weapon features include two detachable Mush-makin’ Missiles, molded Side-by-Side Rapid Hot Lead Dispensers, and two Shell-scannin’ Searchlights. With its distinctive 1991 Playmates design, Rocksteady-specific styling, bouncing action, and original TMNT vehicle accessories, the Rocksteady’s Pogocopter remains a notable vintage Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toy for collectors of the original Playmates line.
