The 1991 Ninja Newscycle is a vintage Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles vehicle released by Playmates Toys. Designed as a high-speed news-gathering motorcycle for April O'Neil, this “broadcastin' battle bike” features a Pop-Up Turtle Cam, fold-down Sewer-Scanning Gullwings, and a Snap-In Satellite Dish and News Camera. The vehicle transforms from a sleek street bike into a specialized TMNT news-reporting and battle vehicle.
A complete Ninja Newscycle includes the main cycle, Pop-Up Turtle Cam, Remote Turtle Comm, Snap-In Satellite Dish, Snap-In News Camera, two Microphone Missiles, and four Ninja Star Hubs. The vehicle also features a distinctive Ninja Windshield and exhaust pipes. Released in 1991, the Ninja Newscycle TMNT vehicle is a unique vintage Playmates collectible and was sold as the Hero Newscycle in the UK and parts of Europe.
