Centurions Max Ray Sea Operations Expert and Cruiser Assault Weapon System (1986)

Cruiser is a light Assault Weapon System from the Centurions toy line, designed for Max Ray, the team’s marine operations expert. Built for underwater missions, Cruiser features a breathing apparatus, dual Hydro Thrusters for aquatic propulsion, and limited aerial mobility. Its weapons include a forearm-mounted Repulsar, a radar-equipped keel fin Repulsar, and a Hydro Missile launcher.

The Cruiser Centurions toy includes a missile-firing mechanism activated by rotating the chest shaft or using a manual launch lever. The interchangeable missile launcher can be attached to the forearm, leg, or chest, allowing multiple weapon configurations. Original packaging highlighted three play modes: Surface, Sea Attack, and Turbo Thrust. Due to its specialized underwater design and limited land mobility, Max Ray often relied on fellow Centurions Jake Rockwell and Ace McCloud for transportation during missions.
